Every year, the Conference Board conducts the CEO Challenge, a survey which asks hundreds of executives from around the world to identify their most critical concerns. This is then followed up with several in-depth interviews designed to explore the themes identified from the survey in greater detail. These interviews are conducted with CEOs from companies ranging in size from $5.6 billion to $88 billion in annual revenues, headquartered in diverse regions, and representing a cross-section of industries. The findings of these interviews are then published in the annual Perspectives and analysis report. This year's report includes: exploiting new opportunities in China and India; the increasingly symbiotic nature of customer/supplier relationships; finding qualified managerial talent; optimism about improvements in legal/governmental protections for IT and other intellectual property; and corporate reputation.
This report can be found on the Conference Board Research database, available to staff, students and alumni of London Business School Library
